Indie is trying to spend less time on her mobile phone.  

She records the number of minutes she uses her mobile over four days:   

140 minutes, 168 minutes, 205 minutes and 192 minutes  

Indie records the number of minutes for a fifth day.  

The mean for all five days is 178 minutes.  

Work out the number of minutes she used her phone on the fifth day.   

Answer : 

Total for 5 days = 178 x 5 = 890 minutes  

First 4 days = 140 + 168 + 205 + 192 = 705 minutes  

Fifth day = 890 – 705 = 185 minutes
