Greg has taken his children to soft play for the morning to burn off some energy! The soft play has a ball pit which his children love to play in.

The ball pit contains many coloured balls.

Some are yellow, some are red, some are blue, and the others are pink.

The probability of choosing a pink/yellow/red or blue ball is shown below:

Yellow: 0.54

Red: 0.12

Blue: 0.25

Pink: 0.09

There are 575 blue balls in the ball pit.

What is the total number of balls in the ball pit?

Answer:

575 balls are one quarter of the total therefore multiply 575 by 4 to get the total number

575 x 4 = 2300  balls
